Spartacus eBook give away

I got a wild hair–perhaps because it’s 12-12-12?–and decided that today is the day to give away a few Spartacus eBooks. Kindle/iPad/whatever–I think I’ve got your device covered! (If you get it, though, and it doesn’t work, please don’t pout or shout, just email me.) Also, the file makes a nice gift…you know, if you’re the type to give away files as gifts.

If you’re interested, just ask in the comments below!

I am buying my 9 year old a Kindle for Christmas and would love to have a few books pre-loaded! He is getting a Kindle Fire, if that makes a difference. Thanks!!

What a great gift idea! I’d love to send you one. Because he’s 9, though, I do recommend that you review this blog post and/or skim the book to make sure it’s a good fit: You can always hang onto it for a year, too. (:

Thank you SO much for linking that post. I admit that I never really thought about the language in books for my son. I pre-read most of his books for a while, but he dealt with various subjects very maturely. Just now, after reading your blog post (as well as the Amazon review), he and I had a nice discussion about language in books. He told me that the bad language made him a bit uncomfortable sometimes (apparently his most recent book, that I didn’t pre-read, used “damn” a lot), but that he knew that was how *that* character talked and didn’t mean he would start using those words.

That said…I would still like to get a copy of your book. I will read it before Christmas. Heck, I have been looking for a new read anyway. ;-) If I feel he is up to it, it will be loaded on his Kindle for Christmas morning.

Thanks again for your honesty and caring for your readers.

Whenever I have that feeling in my gut to tell a parent that Spartacus says “crap” throughout, I try to act on it. :) I hope you both enjoy it!

Hey Molly! I’d love a kindle version if you’ve still got a few spots left on the list! :) My 9 year old will get a huge kick out of it (as will I, of course!)

Hmm… not sure if my last comment went through. I would love a copy of your e-book. I’m always looking for new middle grade boy recommendations.

Sure thing! What type of reader do you have?

I would love one if you’re still giving them away!
